“Al and Kelly’s beach house is a Sears and Roebuck Kit house, and we are a family of designers and builders, so we appreciated the aesthetics as well as the layout. Kelly is an artist–the house is filled with eclectic and interesting furnishings yet not overdone. The kitchen is well supplied for our family of foodies and accommodated meal prep and cooking from homemade pasta to charcoal-grilled sea bass… The two bicycles in the garage helped us transport umbrellas and chairs to the beach. There were plenty of fluffy white towels for showering, and a beautifully crafted cedar shower enclosure outdoors. The wide veranda caught the sea breezes and became our go to place for meals, socializing, and child play. Also a well equipped bar made cocktails and “Miller Time” memorable. Overall, we spent a most enjoyable week at Kelly and Al’s Sakkonet property.”
Our stay exceeded expectations. This beautiful house with many original features is made even more delightful by exquisite decorating. Hosts are beyond accommodating and helpful. Excellent location down on the point of Little Compton. A gem that will make your stay in little Rhody one you don’t forget.
This very special house as all the charm and good taste we could have asked for. I am very picky and am often disappointed with shabby furniture or dated decor. Saule House has taste for days. The owners know how to find that balance between making you feel at home while communicating just enough information so that you feel supported and totally in the know. This house is immaculate and the owners have literally thought of everything you might need – and don’t even know you need! (everything from towels, flip flops, candles and local markets). Located in one of the most magical and out of the way places, Sakonnet Point in Little Compton RI has long been one of our favorite places. Saule House was a dream location – quiet, glorious views, spectacular beach walks. I work from home and was easily able to keep up with ample WiFi and cozy work nooks where I could steal away and sneak a few emails. This house is one of those great feats of architecture - seemingly quaint and modest on the outside, gigantic and endless rooms on the inside. Simply glorious.

Casual, comfortable, cute, rambling fun. Beautiful house. Great location. Easy to find but it felt like we were in a different world. I was reminded of the Summer of 42. Can’t wait to return. Thank you.
